From My Lawyer
So I got an e-mail from my lawyer this morning telling me that he got a higher offer from the insurance company and that he thought that was as high as they were going to go. So I will be getting about $9000 from Century 3's insurance company and have to pay some medical bills left over and my lawyer, then I get to keep the rest...
Thank God it's almost over!
I think we were both hoping for a bit more, but what I get is what I get. They are claiming that I have a 50% liability since I didn't see the peice of food that I fell on and they didn't know it was there.
I should be really happy, right?
Why am I not? It can't be cause I was expecting more, cause I wasn't expecting ANYTHING, but for some reason, I'm not depressed, I'm just not excited.
