Re: the couch/movie/tv watching thing, totally happens here, but that's because whenever we are watching tv/movie/whatever with the Drama Queen, she is sprawled out on top of him or cuddling beside him, leaving no room for me and he doesn't seem to think about how that might make me feel.
We also seem to become Drama/Mr. Song and Phoenix Song/Wyn. It's like we are two different families. I'm in charge of Wyn, and his focus is Drama. It gets frustrating and upsetting for me sometimes. Wyn is too small to notice it now, but he's goign to have to become cognizant of it and change his behaviors as she gets older or it's going to become very hurtful and upsetting to her that she is "second" whenever Drama is here, kwim?
I know exactly what you mean. We can't have kids, but I know it would be the same here. And I can't honestly be mad. I was told back when we were dating that I would always come second. The kids Always come first. It would just be nice to have some affection on occasion. I actually told him today that when they kids are here they have a dad... I don't have a husband
