At the End of Yet Another Year...
Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I last posted here. There were times when I thought I'd never get round to posting again, but as you can see, I'm returning to the fold at the cusp of the new year. I hope you've all been well since we last met, and I obviously wish you all the best for the new year!
It's been a strange year for me, what with my long trip to Singapore and Australia, a new job, a new man in my life and other developments which conspired to keep me busy and away from LJ. On the whole I'd call it a good year, but we'll have to see where it's all leading. Let's just say that 2008 is going to be an interesting year for me. :-)
The picture below more or less sums up how I feel about 2007. It got pretty windy and rainy at times, but at the end of it all, there was frequently a glorious burst of light which made it all worthwhile, and then some. It will definitely be the light that I'll remember about 2007, rather than the darker moments which occasionally occurred. I hope the same will be true for each of you.
