Light and Dark

To my surprise, I hardly took any pictures of trees during my recent trip to Paris, Barcelona and Rome; I guess there weren't enough gum trees there for my taste. I couldn't resist this shot of a tree and a fence, though.

The pictures look very dark on my work monitor; I hope they're not too dark on your monitors.

they're just dark enough to add a perfect touch of moodiness. the fence pole and slight blurriness make me feel a bit voyeuristic....

Thanks for putting my mind at rest on the darkness issue, Pei. That's a relief.

The bottom picture came out a bit blurrier than I intended. I like the dreaminess the blurriness adds to the image, but all the same I'm considering redoing it and sharpening it a bit.
