It has been my experience that shy=girl, most male fetus are very excited about showing off their boy parts, which, interestingly, doesn't change much with age either ;-)

Still working on that. We are waiting to find out if we have a boy or girl. Adam likes the name Thaddeus Maximus for a boy, but I have overruled him on that one!

I only just recently came to realize that Iowa is, essentially, one large experiment in land and social planning...

I love flying home and looking at the land, especially in the fall. I also love driving through it. So pretty! And don't forget Iowa's wonderful signage. Not only are the roads straight, they're generally labeled. I didn't realize how wonderful that is until I visited the east coast...
