K. This is the deal. My co-worker's laptop received an "Unmountable_Boot_Volume" error. His operating disks are in his home state of New Hampshire, waaaaaaaaaaaaay at the top of the world, or at least a damn site closer to Canada than we are.
I hooked the laptop HD up to my desktop HD and it was not recognized. Dell said the HD was completely fried. Lacking the OS disks, is there a way to get his files off the computer? It will not boot into any form of a Safe Mode and it is not recognized when used as a slave drive.
Any suggestions from anyone would be great! Thank you so much!

Hit me up if problems persist.

So....suggestions? Other than OS disks and blowing up the laptop. Although, the second options is most tempting!
