Well, I got a place in Tafe. Now what? I dunno if I wanna do it anymore... but I know Dave wants me to do it plus it would be nice to make some friends outside of work. But... I dunno. I LIKE working and earning money too much to give it up I think. I really do want to go to Tafe, but I want to be earning a decent amount at the same time. ARGH

The answer is simple: go to TAFE, do what you enjoy. It'll be better than not doing it and later on wishing you had. And as far as money goes, it's only in the short-term. Alternately, see if you can go part time.

Or just whore yourself out on a Friday night. Whatever works best for you and Dave.
