What beautiful pictures! Though the devastation saddened me somewhat, i got ridiculously over excited when i saw pictures of the French Quarter. And Lestat's house! Omg! I can just see the brat prince standing in the shade of the pillars. I cant believe how beautiful it is! Thank you so much for posting these!

Thank you! I know, I felt that way the entire time I was down there, I fully expected to see him in this scene, it would have made the picture complete thats for sure ^_^

It looks like you had a blast! The pictures are beautiful, although I couldn't get any of the videos to play for me. I've got to go to class, but I'm so jealous and want to go now!

Lol, thank you and you are welcome. Part of the reason I made the videos was for the Lestat fans to see.

The weather was kind of crazy...I am glad I packed all kinds of clothes. We were told we arrived in a "cold spell" (for New Orleans anyways) and just missed the 80 degree weather. In the day it was mostly light jackets or sweaters...one day it was fine to wear short sleeves. Nights were colder and we wore jackets or layered shirts under sweaters. Nothing compared to arriving in Chicago where a snowstorm had fallen...now that sucked. Going from palm trees to a foot of snow and bitter cold wind. Welcome home...hah!
