Cross your fingers that it stays that way. I'm checking my page on AO3 to make sure all my stories are there in case LJ shuts me down for being a slash writer.

Is LJ still owned by the Russians?

Either way it's probably because LJ is so big in Russia and they're on their whole ban people from sharing "gay propaganda" and finally got around to bitching about it being on LJ tbh.

I wish I'd seen this earlier. But yeah, the 'crackdown' was some kind of ISP issue, and the person who thought they were cracked down on hates LJ. Sadly I have run into them before and they've been bitching about LJ for at least five years. Not to mention personal experiences with them that would make me check outside if they said the sky was blue...
