Pet loss

Until last night, I had two ferrets, Minkey Woozel and L'il Miss. (Each name has a story behind it.) We found L'il Miss passed away last night, with no warning and no real identifiable cause

Ferrets are such wonderful, playful creatures. They only usually live to be around eight years old, which is unfortunate. I've had close to seven ferrets over the course of my life. It's tough having to say goodbye. I wish you the best, and L'il Miss.

I am sorry for your loss. It is always sad when we lose a family member. How is Minkey Woozle holding up? Missing his snuggle buddy? Maybe there was a lonely ferret in ferret heaven that L'il Miss needed to go and snuggle with?
