Well, ComEd had the tree branch taken down, so my electricity, and that of my neighbor, is safe for now. Last night, however, a house right by where I live had the furnace explode into flame. A branch fell on our power line Thursday, but since its weight is being supported by our garage, the lines aren't damaged. Yet. As of very recently, I have a new part-time job as, for lack of a better way to describe it, a professional note-taker. I have solved the problem of my handwriting sprawling all over an unlined page by putting a lined page behind it, so I can see the lines through the paper.
