God Bless, Angel. I never pegged you for risk at your age, but I'm glad you're still anchored to the material plane. My neighbor had a heart attack and a triple bypass and went on for twenty years despite a drinking problem and cigar habit.

I think if you take care you'll be around to see oil rigs on the poles and a space base on Mars.

I'd be happy to be around to have a kid or 25th anniversary...lol. I am really looking at this like a new beginning to be a happier, healthier Angel with a fuller and more active life with Bill. It's quite the wake-up call.

damn. well, at least it was caught and taken care of. and the whole irrevocable thing... they are finding ways to regrow that tissue now. youre going to be short of breath and prone to dizzyness for quite a while, but it is eventually going to be fixable.

are they putting you on insulin, or just sugar monitoring for now?

I'm on a mega-dose of oral glucophage twice a day and regular self accu-checks. I'm hoping I can control it without injectables.

It looks like not this weekend but the next weekend would be good for trying to get together if you like. Saturdays normally work better as the hubby table tops on Sundays. Perhaps bbq and movies, board games, play with Loki?
