see...reading that i thought it was a suicide bomb the whole way. the curfews are not new, people there know the rules. the car sounded like it was speeding up, maybe it was a shitty car. when it comes down to it, the army is going to shoot the car thats coming at them 10 out of 10 times if there isnt time for a warning shot. is it morally right? no, not really. but everytime they dont shoot that car, and its a bomb, and 10 americans die, the same people who yell at bush for killing civilians yell at him for killing americans. you cant have it both ways, (im not saying "you" to erin, or anyone in particular) the army is going to do what they're trained to do.

i had more to say but i started this like 20 minutes ago and got sidetracked. whats on all those quicktime things? i didnt watch/listen to any of them

I don't want Americans to get blown up just as much as I don't want random Iraqui civilians' heads caved in by bullets.

Its just a sad story with some compelling pictures to go along with it. I do not run a political blog here.

That totally sucks, but seriously, there was no other choice. If someone runs through an airport security check, he's likely to get taken out.
