So, I have to apartment hunt soon. I really have been putting it off because I'm lazy, well, not really. I just don't want to have to face the mounds of shit that is my room, the garage and partially the basement!! And I have to buy a couch...blarg. Garage sales. Thrift stores. Even ones people in nice neighborhoods are putting out to be picked up for trash. that could get you by until you buy a nice on for you new apartment... It's something to keep in mind, although with the prices at IKEA (oh wait, don't have one in WI....) and other stores you could probably buy a nice little one for not too bad of money.

wish I could help you out with apartment suggestions, but alas I cannot. Apartment searching is a headache. they all start to look the same. good luck!

I got a couch for pretty decent money at Ashley furniture. I don't know if they're around GB at all, but I got a couch for less than 400$. It's pretty comfy too!

i'd stay away from vine streen and lime kiln, if i remember right. some of the ones on lime kiln are nice, but some nastish people live over there. also, i'm pretty sure the ones on windsor and hiltop are in pretty decent neighborhoods.

I second Windsor and Hilltop! Baird is okay, but the neighborhood is a little iffy. The other places I don't recognize (which shouldn't be too surprising!).

Good luck!!!

Cuz there are lots of apartments in De Pere that are nice and prolly close to where you work. Yes, stay away from vine and lime kiln...definately lime kiln. There are some nice apartments in ashwabenon too and that's close to green bay and De Pere becuase it's right in between them.
