dunno if you have antivirus software, but there're a couple good free ones out there. I'd start with http://housecall.antivirus.com It'll download an applet onto your computer, and from there it'll check all your files for viruses. The downside, It cannot be scheduled to check while you're not there. Another, that I've never used but my friends like (we're all Computer Science majors, so this comes fairly highly recomended) is AVG, which is free and on your computer, so you don't have to go to the internet to get it. It can be found at http://www.sofotex.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition-download_L21.html but I know virtually nothing about it. Sorry.
