Likes numbers because they never cry. (this may in fact be canon)

Served in the Second World War, but was confined to desk duty because of his eyesight. Worked as a codebreaker, and still feels like he failed his country.

Sometimes follows the surviving line of his family, and then erases the computer track so no one will know. (Watari still knows.)

Oh, Banri.

Started stealing from stores but then realized temples were easier pickings.

Picked up another protege after Gojyo, but the guy ended up stealing from him.

Still has a soft spot for Gojyo. What happened back there was just business; he knows the redhead will understand.

Gojyo probably *would* understand, too. They'd have a dirty fight about it, but end up sat on the fllor smoking together.

Until Hakkai got home and brought out the shaving cream.

Still doesn't understand how Vash could understand him, much less like him anyway.

Thought the whole idea of worshipping Plants was stupid even before he met Vash. And then it really went out the window.

I still don't feel like I've watched enough Naruto to do Kakashi, but here goes anyway:

A lot of time he's re-reading. Sometimes it's for nuances he hasn't caught before. Sometimes it's a convenient way to ignore people who piss him off.

Sometimes his mouth gets really hot under that mask. He sucks it up.

Wishes sometimes he never got the Sharingan, but would never give it up or do things differently.
