 I know most of you know my infamous Smokey kitten or have heard stories about him. Heck, Skye was online with me the night he was born.
 Wel, last night his mother was killed by someone who thinks our street is a god damn raceway. They hit her and left her to die in the street. My dad found her shoetly after it happened and since he wasn't

It's always heartbreaking to lose a pet. they're like our children. *hugs*

Oh my god... I'm sorry... I never had any pets, really (except for fishes), but I can't imagine how horrible it must be. *squeezes* I hope you feel better...

Oh, Safire, I am so sorry. There is no heartbreak, I think, like that of losing a cat. It's okay to grieve--you *must* grieve--but please, don't blame yourself...it wasn't your fault. Blame the awful person who didn't even have the decency to stop afterwards...but remember, a bad death does not erase a good life. She was a happy cat and that's what mattered.
