Hello All,
I can't sleep right now as my mind is still reeling from an incident that happened after my husband left for work.

Holy shit. I'm glad you're okay and it didn't give way. Maybe tomorrow you should have someone come over and help you give the yard/surrounding area a good once-over to make sure there's nothing lying around for people to use? Ugh.

This is scary to read, never mind living through it. Take care.

That was the odd thing. We don't keep that sort of thing out. Bats and such are stored away. We can't figure out how they even saw the darn thing. Fright wise I am doing better. Sleep was filled with nightmares and every noise had me jumping awake. I am more angry this moring than scared today. I feel like they took something away from me.
I feel like some of my security was stolen.
Hubby has the next three days off though. Maybe I can settle my mind before he goes back to work.

That is scary as hell. Sometimes, if you call a police department, explain what happened, and ask for an occasional drive-by to scare off whoever might be trying to break into homes in the area, they'll do it just to try to prevent something like that. They don't want any bad things happening on their watch. You should. They might also know if there has been things happening in your area and be able to give you advice.
