Just a note- African Soft Furred Rats AKA Natal Rats are a completely differnt species than rats, and there's the high probability they'd kill each other. Just like with any other rodent, it's not suggested you put them with rats/allow them to interact.

I'm a mod at ratties, and was just looking to make sure you were a 'real person', and not a spam bot journal, or troll *G*

Oh you're in BC! When you're looking for future ratties, rather than supporting commercial pet breeding facilities ('Mills'), there's an AWESOME rescue up that way called Little Mischief Rescue.

I have an AWESOME rescue boy from them (Hemmingway), a dumbo white guy *G* They're a really great rescue.

Yeah, I figured that the African Soft-fur ones wouldn't get along with my Hoodies. So I passed on them... plus they were too slippy and skiddish.

A rescue? Sweet. I will check them out. I would rather rescue or get one from a breeder than from a petstore/mill anyway.

There's also a really good breeder up that way who I've gotten kiddos from, Small Joys Rattery. She also has kiddos from me :)

LMR is an exceptional rescue. I love them!
