I want to start a weekly podcast show. I need to know how to do this. I already have the material written for a few shows. Please let me know any advice on equipment and software and hosting sites. I do have my own website so is it possible to use that?

I need all the help I can get.

I actually RUN a weekly podcast show (mondaynightrabble.com/blog)

It's easy. You need:
-A mixing board (Under $100)
This is solely if you are ever going to need a 2nd mic. If you are just doing one mic you can get away with plugging right into the computer. It's sound is a bit muddier, but it works.
- A microphone ($30 - $60 for something that doesn't sound flat)
- A computer (duh)
- Software (There are free ones out there. I use a piece called AUDACITY which does everything you need)
- A place to post (Blogs work fantastic)
