Today was supposed to be a really good day, and ended up sucking huge donkey balls. . Mat has PROMISED me a "family day" for a couple of weeks now. JUST the 3 of us. We need that. For our marriage and for Deacon's relationship with his dad. We need some time to just hang out and do something fun

Misty, you are so far from selfish! It is not unreasonable to want a day/night alone with just your husband and your son. I can see how that would get old VERY fast, not to mention, you had your mom there for how long, so you were never truly ALONE
