Hey.
Kyocera phones are pretty good, they're quite popular over here (behind Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson, I guess)... Ok, so maybe they aren't so popular but a guy I know needed a CDMA one to take to work when he was working on gas lines right out in the outback and he's never had problems with it (and gets great reception from central Australia too apparently).

Offtopic, but that link to whatisblik that you posted made my heart go pitterpat. They're just vinyl clings so I'm going make my own. Thanks for the inspiration.

cellphones= the devil. I'm still living in 1980 where cell phones only exist in movies. I see people walking around with them on the street and even my mom has one but it doesn't register. She's got a cool sprint flip phone. She swears she's hip.

btw I added you.

im not a huge fan of cellphones in that they often are used to rudely interrupt life as it should be. i cringe when i hear people loudly convesing on them in restaurants, and when they ring in theatres i see red. the worst is when someone answers their cellphone while they are having a conversation with someone face to face.

i didn't have one until i moved from a small town to a city. then the fact that i could call a cab from anywhere and always be able to call the police/911 incase of an emergency really sold me. i feel safer with one.

for me i use it just like a regular phone (which is to say i mostly avoid it and hardly use it at all)-- i dont even have a landline telephone (which means i always have to offer up proof of residency when i apply for things -- annoying.)

thanks for adding me :)

Do you have wireless service or something? I can't picture living without the landline. I'm using dsl, and how else can I have a rude answering machine message that tells people I don't want to talk to them.
