tommorrow is the 1st day of my reading week. every week is like reading week really for me since i only have two classes and i only go to them half of the time and i never do any work for them.
since certain aspects of my life are seemingly under control right now (relationships, organization, financial), i should spend at least _some_ of this time doing some catch up work.

+ drawing of the same bud at the same time every day for 21 days
(o_o; my drawing teacher is totally a vague and weird and all-over-the-place hippy. he gives the most retarded assignments that make no sense!! the other week we asked him what type of paper to bring in for an exercise in ink and brush for the next class and his response was "oh... 70, 70 cents." with no further explanation. i havent figured out how i am going to manage to pass this class without going insane.)

i had a really nice weekend despite some general grouchiness and lack of multi-person birthday celebration. travis and i spent the last 2 days exploring. on saturday we went to the T&T asian food market, chinatown and robson and today we took a nice sunday afternoon stroll down main.
