i am sick of feeling unintelligent for my lack of vocabulary and for how inarticulate i am.

i am sick of not understanding things when people talk to me.

i feel so obsolete. and within my field of study it is unlikely that i will progress much further.

it feels like everyone around me iz so smart and i r so dumb.

don't. intelligence is about the thinks in yr head and communication skillz (not just yours -- when failure to understand occurs, the responsibility is as much on the speaker as on the listener; it's all about meeting halfway) are about the vocab + articulation of getting 'em out and taking new thinks in.

feel inarticulate if you must, but unlike intelligence, that's something that can at least be worked on. intelligence without articulation can be frustrating, but it's no worse off than articulation without intelligence; take away my thesaurus (ahem) and my median two pages of exposition boil down to "I am a stunted, misshepen emotional midget."

and it wasn't me who said someone needs to take away your thesaurus. you can keep your thesaurus as far as i'm concerned; i'm sure your large vocabulary (and those of the people you associate with) has something to do with the recent growth of mine (my parents commented on it...)
