People who marry in their early twenties are a minority. My being married has increased my percieved age by about ten years in four years of marriage. There is no magazine for married twenty-somethings because we don't exist. Also, married people who don't have children don't count as people. Especially at church. [/rant]

That all sounds about right. People always assume that:
1) I married "for the children"
2) I'm religious. Heavily so. Like 'Mormon' religious.
3) My married is DOOMED and/or I married for convenience, such as insurance.

It's just annoying that there's no market for people like us because we essentially don't exist :(
I used to like this Real Simple magazine because it had neat tricks and ways to organize and things like "12 ways to use vinegar", but, they're shifting more the way of Better Homes and Good Housekeeping and focusing more on "10 products you NEED in your medicine cabinet! (that we hope you won't notice changes every month)" or "Outfits you need to buy!"

Don't even get me started on "married for the children". I think there are still "friends" of the family who are wondering what happened to the children that should have been five years old by now...

But...marriage is to raise children! What is this nonsense about people not being married and having kids and people being married and not having kids! White is black! Water is dry!
