Bombita is a pretty nice hamster, everybody tells me that since she doesn't bite, and you can do pretty much everything to her. She is pretty mellow and shy but hyperactive at night.Dita on the other hand, is pretty mean and feisty , she used to bite and she doesn't like anything to get in her territory (cage). She still thinks she can fight , but even when she bites me it doesn't hurt. Funny thing is , this morning, Dita has been really busy fixing her nest, maybe she wasn't feeling good or something and now she feels better o_O
wow, they're complete opposites. Do they get along? my cats were opposites and they always fought, it was hard trying to separate them -__-
Dita sounds a lot like the cat I used to have. She used to growl whenever you messed with her too much. but I just laughed at her when she growled. it was just too funny when she growled and acted tough when I knew she really wasn't like that.
yeah Dita is the tough one, she wasn't like that when i first got her (i got her for being nice lol). I got dita as a companion for my old hamster Pita, at first Pita used to bully (it was more like showing dominance) Dita, and Dita would just take it and avoid Pita, but one day Dita suddenly showed her true colors and started fighting with Pita. I had to buy another cage for Dita. Dita and Bombita don't know each other, Bombita lives in Pita's old cage (Pita is dead)and Dita has her own house. I don't put them together because i know Dita will try to fight Bombita, and Dita is way older and smaller than Bombita (i know Bombita would most likely kill her). And yeah they are opposite, Dita is tiny and mean while Bombita is sweet and chubby.
i heard of the pedipaws, i thought it was supposed to cut the nail without the pet feeling anything, or maybe i'm thinking of some other product. You can do the other paws later, one pas a day ^_^
i trim my hamsters' nails too, and let me tell you is not easy >__<, first i my mom has to grab the hamster , and when she finally calls down, i cut nail by nail, their little toes are so small that i have to be extra careful not to cut the nail with toe too >__<. I use a small nailclipper ( the one for babies)

LOL that's really cute! Bombita sounds like she's the stubborn type XD
aww poor Dita. At least she's getting to eat her favorite foods before she goes.

I tried it on him and he bit me. he didn't like it. >_>
but with my brother there, I was able to distract him with treats while he used it. We only got one paw filed but it was better than nothing ^^
