Our movers showed up an hour late, but then managed to get everything out of our old place and into our new one in 2 1/2 hours. Add 3 car trips (one of which was to bring just the cats) and we were 100% moved in. We did some cleanup of the Apartment of Doom and turned the keys in at 11:30 am on Saturday. Not yet, but that's on the list. We have a nice hallway leading from our apartment's entryway to the living room, and I was thinking of hanging all of those pieces in a line as you walk down the hall.

Very true. We're actually trying to work out the best way of getting Setanta, since it involves getting some sort of satellite service.

In one particularly small college dorm room, we actually went so far as to add to-scale construction paper cut-out furniture so we could play with arrangements and the mechanics of moving it all.

Well, I am currently rearranging the bedroom furniture based on one such drawing. Apparently Martha's dad did the same sort of thing when he was younger.
