It is sad to see CFAN go down...that represented some pretty good times and this is like concrete proof that it isn't coming back. But I think that taking great steps to keep it up is just...I don't know, encouraging people to think about going back to something that they can't go back to?
That said, I really miss a lot of the people I used to talk to so often and it's a little sad to see that something I'd put so much time into is gradually fading away. I'm trying to keep (or get back) in touch with a few people from those days, which is nice. I like seeing where people are at in their lives now.
It as amazing, though, how quickly things move now. I remember hearing about actors who were sort of sequestered when filming movies. They said that if they missed a year of pop culture today, it was like missing an entire generation a few years ago. I'd say it's even quicker now.
