It is cold here in East Tennessee. Chris has been stacking wood on the porch and from the looks of the temps for the next week…we are gonna need it. We have been getting up of a morning and leave together very early. I take Chris to Amanda’s to keep Perrin over there. There are several reasons for this, the driveway is a mess after all the rain and ( Read more... )

I've never slept with rocks, but I like that idea.

Try it sometime. But hand pick them....it is a better experience if you know the rocks and you get along well with them.

No sleeping with stones, but that sounds like a good idea.

I would recommend it to anyone really, especially if a rock is energized and has a good personality

How hot do you get them? Can you touch them with your bare hands?
Do you wrap them in cloth?

I have a gravity fed gas heater, and I could easily put a slabs of rocks on them and that would be a great way for me to heat the bed. I just don't want to burn myself in the process.

They need to be very warm through and through but able to pick up with your hand or at least a washcloth. If you get them nice and hot, you can pick them up with a rag and trandfer them to the bed, cover them with the blanket about 5-10 minutes before you go to bed. Once you go to bed, just move them to the side a bit and crawl into the warm bed. I then take the stones and put them between my legs, under my arms, at my feet, hold them in my hands and such and fall asleep nice and cozy. I even lay one on my pillow, a nice big thin flat one and lay my head on it. It feels very nice and I generally fall right to sleep. I use to be riddled with horrible night terrors and got very little sleep, but since we started using the rocks from my favorite stream in the mountains here, I sleep well!
