Music has a big impact

...Of course, you all knew that before. But today, I heard "Singing in the Rain" randomly, and it made me really happy for some reason. Then later, I heard Beethoven's 9th, and now all I can think about is A Clockwork Orange. It's weird that hearing a certain song can instantly transport you to another time and event. It's totally true! But what I hate about it is that most songs that give me the strong "emotional" feeling give me the BAD feeling. So I end up feeling shitty whenever I listen to the Postal Service, or (some) Tarkio, or the Garden State Soundtrack.

hahaha, it's not whiny, it's natural. I know of people who get REALLY sad when they listen to certain things. It's just interesting that emotions are so well tied to music.
