UBet! Chapter 1
Yuya Takaki is the most popular guy in Maiki’s school. He has looks, money and everything a girl wants for a guy. But Maiki is diffirent, I mean, Maiki hates everything about that guy. He may be handsome but he has a very bad attitude. He treated others like slaves. But even if that’s the case he is still popular with both boys and girls in their school. He’s also popular with his “game”. If you’ll catch his attention, you’ll be a player of that game. And that’s what happened to Maiki, she accidentally slapped him because he had insulted the feelings of Maiki’s friend, Haru. Haru confessed to Yuya but ended of being insulted saying “you’re not my type. GET LOST!”. Haru came to Maiki crying then she told her what happened when she tried to confess, so Maiki got out of control and slapped him the face. THEN, THAT WAS THE START OF THE “GAME”.
“Why are you crying” Maiki asked Haru, who had run into her.
She looked at maiki for a moment the burst into tears. “T-Takaki Yuya, I-I confessed to him.”
“then?” Maiki was getting interested about it.
“H-He didn’t accept my feelings. He said that I’m not his type and he said that I should
“get lost”. The “get lost” phrase echoed in Maiki’s head. She hated that phrase so much. It’s because, when she was in elementary, she confessed to the boy she likes but that boy responded that phrase. So because of that, she hurriedly gone to see Takaki Yuya in their classroom.
“where’s Takaki Yuya?!” Maiki asked angrily. Haru tried to stop her but she was too late. Maiki is not herself anymore.
“Takaki? Oi Takaki! Another girl is looking for you again!” his classmate claims.
“what do you want?”Takaki Yuya asked with an annoyed look.
“Your Takaki Yuya?! You bastard!” Maiki slapped him in the face. The classroom was quite because of the scene. They were all shocked on what Maiki did.
“Ma-chan!” Haru hold her.
Takaki was quite for a second then he walked towards Maiki’s direction. He kept walking until he is so close with Maiki. Maiki took one step backwards until she had to stand beside the wall. Takaki leaned to her then KISSED HER ON THE LIPS. “That kiss means it’s the start of the game. Good luck, small girl.”
“wha- What the hell did you do?! What the hell are you talking about?! What game?! Are you insane?!” Maiki asked him brutally. She was very very very surprised about the kiss. She never had her first kiss yet until that day. Tears just flowed from Maiki’s eyes.
“What the-? Why are you crying? Don’t tell me it’s your first kiss?” Takaki jokingly asked her.
Maiki did not response to it. She just looked at Takaki with an angry eyes then she ran away.
Inoo tapped Takaki’s shoulders. “tsk! You shouldn’t have done that Yuya!”
Takaki just laughed. “I can’t helped it! Her angry face is just so funny and I can’t help myself but to tease her.”
