It was really satisfying to show Clark and Bruce working together well! To be honest, if I were to go back and edit this more I'd make sure Clark was a much stronger presence socially. Without superpowers, since Bruce is talented and has the cash, what does Clark bring? It has to be the ability to get along with people and be diplomatic, but I didn't develop that as well as I could have, and I feel bad about that. There are little hints of it here, like his confronting Luthor instead of Bruce, but... *sigh* I can't wait to show how the future looks with the two of them in the next chapter, though! The last chapter! :(

Oh I still can see a pretty nice development of Clark's character - in the ring as well as in his private life. And I can see him growing to the Clark/Superman I know from the comics. And I love how great couple are Clark and Bruce in this story (as I'm used to and love in your stories).
I'm torn now - I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter has in store for Clark and Bruce, but in the same time I'm sad it's the last chapter and the wonderful series is going to end. *sigh*

I always love writing them coming together, but they make a great established couple, too! It's hard to believe how long they've been together in this world now...

I'm so torn too! I'm just a few sentences from finishing it, I can hardly believe it. I want them to be happy so much, they deserve it!
