Oh wow, Bruce is pretty fucking messed up. Clark could really use J'onn's power of telepathy right now because he thinks he's in a loving relationship with Bruce and Bruce...needs help. I hope for his sake Clark or Alfred find out about this code of his. He needs to be decoded.

Yes, Bruce and his code! I can see him interpreting Clark's words this way, though it's really a release of sorts for Bruce. In a D/s relationship (whether Bruce is the only one playing the game or not), as the sub he's allowing himself to work things out that he needs worked out.

I can see this being very valuable for Bruce--almost a positive catharsis, in a way--though he'd have to have Clark consciously involved for it to be fair, you know? But it's not hopeless...
