After the atrocity that was Windows Vista, I honestly never expected to enjoy using a Microsoft OS again. Win7's beta has proven me wrong on so many levels

Ha, my partner and I used the Refer a Friend thing they're doing just now. When two characters from the linked accounts play together and are within four (I think) levels of each other you get triple experience. Then on top of that, every two levels you get a free level to give to any character on the recruiter's account that's below level 60.
It's a lucrative system - I wouldn't have had to actually pay for the character at all if I wasn't playing a Blood Elf (of course you need Burning Crusade for Belfs).
Lol, i was linked with Mark and my friend Paul but it never made a lot of difference :( I never knew about the free level though! :o I'm using that lol.
Windows 7: good to hear! I'm trying to download the beta as a VMware Appliance from their website, but it's taking forever (stupid halls connection and the lack of torrenting...) - perhaps just grabbing the ISO would be easier =P

Although, I've just got a Paladin from 1-60 in less than 2 days of actual playtime...
