The hospital was a good sturdy building though. Shelving was falling off of walls, and little gusts of plaster here and there had tumbled down, but the structure itself seemed likely to withstand the earthquake.
"Easy, Mitsuko," he said, "we should just get to the hallway. There's nothing can fall on us there."
Ashley was in her room when everything shook. She was trying for out and fast. "Luis? Yoko lets go." She screamed out. A piece of floor came loose and she barely jumped off. Ashley quickley moved .
"Over here." Yoko screamed. Running fast as she could. "This place is shaking bad. as far as I can tell it is just us, Maybe Luis not much sign of anyone else."
Luis was actually steadfastly staying put. To rescue their supplies from the lab was very important, for who knew when or where Umbrella might strike again? The earthquake was only a temporary inconvenience. He had experienced them before, after all. If you weren't crushed to death, if the earth didn't open under your feet, then you simply moved on when it ended. As for preventing the former two incidents from happening? Well, there really wasn't much. Part of what made acts of nature so devastating was that they were just that- acts of nature. Random and unpredictable.
While everyone else ran from the building like headless chickens he made himself safe under the reinforced desk that held the equipment. He had most of the chemicals they'd need to make more vaccine with him. He sheltered them as best he could so that the beakers would not break. ---
"Okay." She stated. still nervous. She trusted Takaya and he was more calm then her. she stepped into the hall and crouched. Hoping if she stayed low that she could handle the shaking better.
