Anime Explosion
SO friday was anime explosion... it was totally awesome. The lupin movie rocked hard, the OA people I chilled with rocked hard, the ride up rocked hard... hell even cici's pizza rocked hard! In short, it was a totally shibby evening like I said it was going to be. xD
Friday NIssa IMd me and said that she and Nabeshin were heading out to ANime Explosion so I nabbed a friend of mine out here in clearwater [not a member of OA yet... looser. -.-] and we jetted over to Tampa to snag a ride with the Tampa Peeps. Set out with the radio blaring in Nabe-kun's awesome car. =O It's manual... it's sexy... and the sound system is to die for. x.X
Could barely hear on the way up the radio was so loud, but instead of turning it down we just talked louder. =D Sometimes you just need to be loud every once inawhile ya know? Got on I-4 and totally missed the exit we were supposed to take to get to Cici's and had to take another and turn around. [that was fun]. ended up getting there early. By early I mean like... Tampa crew early... which means we got there at nine twenty five, meet up time was nine thirty... and since we're usually thirty minutes late being only twentyfive minutes means we were early! =D
Lt. Dan was the only one waiting there, it was awesome meeting him! Met Serpent as well, and some dude that was serpent's buddy [don't remember the guys name though]
GOt to City Walk and they made us stand in the gay ass line for under twenty-one-rs. -.- I'll be so happy when I turn twenty-one. Not because it means I can buy booze as I could care less, but simply because I won't have to deal with stupid crap like that anymore. =)
We ended up ditching the line though and noone stopped us. Got to the place and I guess a like... prom or something was going on. Dunno, but there were more people then usual there. Chilled and met people which was awesome. The flick started late though since the room kept getting moved around and stuff.
All together it was a good evening, didn't crash on the way home, have fond memories, and it wasn't work. =) Needed a bit of escape. spent more money then I should have though, and my mother's gone ahead and started making my costume for metro... which means I'm going to have to pay her back whatever she spends on it. @.@
Where this money is all gonna come from I've no idea. I suppose it'll all work itself out eventually. xD ANyway, got to go sleep now. Work at five in the morning is no fun. @.@
