Sorry bb! I read this and then ended up sick with some stomach-virus type thing that wiped me out. I meant to comment on it and I fail.

I loved it. I mean this really. Bones learning Vulcan on the sly. All this talk of spicing up their relationship and the fear of routines. Spock's reaction to hearing Bones speaking Vulcan?

I loved every second.

Well I hope you start feeling better soon! Stomach virus things are the worst. I mean, it's like the very core of you is rebelling. In the most unpleasant way possible.

Woooo! This was the best thing I've read in a long time, and by far the best Spock/Bones fics I've ever read. I find it's so hard to find good Reboot fics of them without the characters being too off. I enjoy a bit of humor and angst and fluff all combined into one sexy piece, which is why I especially enjoyed this.

I must say though, since this was labeled NC-17 I was hoping for some smex, but there was none!! Did i miss something here? O_O!!

Oh I know, right? Well, the truth is, Bones and Spock refused to give me a show because I was already on 9,000 words for this supposed-to-be-a-drabble. It's punishment. I am, however, working on another fic where they shall not get away with such unappreciated behavior. But...*mind rebooting*...if you ask nicely, maybe there'll be a part II to this.

I mean, we can't let them get away with modesty of all things, can we?

You're so sweet! XD I have fics posted on fanfiction sites, but this was my first Star Trek one. I'll be bringing those other ones over here too though, because I like the formatting here way better. My other fics right now are for Kingdom Hearts, FFVII, and Gundum Wing. But ST's kinda pwning my soul at the moment.

I'll post something else for you tomorrow though, promise. :D

\o/ OMG WIN!

Bones all curmudgeony and bad tempered and speaking Vulcan with a southern accent! Jim being teasing and poking fun at bones! Uhura all badass and taking no nonsense! And Spock can't possibly be lonely or upset because that would be illogical!

I especially love the idea of Bone pestering Uhura until she taught him how to curse in Vulcan.

I love you a lot for writing this. Would you like my first born child? Or perhaps the state of New Mexico?

P.S. I think you've just given me a language kink.

Lol. To be perfectly honest, I have a language kink. I am, and always have been, in love with accents. It's awesome to know I have successfully infected someone else with it. XD

You may, however, regret giving me your firstborn. If you could give me the city of San Fransisco, though, so I can actually build a Starfleet Academy, I would be most grateful. <3

Oooh, I love Bones' secrecy and how it nearly backfired on him. The scenes with Uhura helping him learn Vulcan were very funny, too. Of course, I cheered at the ending, specifically the part where he pronounces Spock's name the Vulcan way. Thanks for sharing this. :-)

Vulcan swearing, Az'ir'kh'ar ha! [Fuck, yeah!] The blue language just popping out of Bones under a moment of stress was as unexpected as it was fun. Thanks for this lovely story.
No doubt Bones will be making Spock's ears turn green for some time in the future.
