Oh dear Lord, that was positively EXQUISITE. Excellent action and pace, the UST was just delicious and so well-written - John and Sherlock were so in character, and all the almost-kisses were just so emotionally charged I could feel the tension emanating off them! And oh, the last one - nothing short of PERFECT. ♥ Poetry in motion. I especially love this line: "Then he stopped thinking for a bit because thinking was boring." How poignant especially since it's Sherlock who's thinking that; it must be true love since it can even make thinking pale in comparison! ♥

Brilliant story and wonderful progression. I love the way the other characters kept interrupting their almost-kisses (especially Mycroft - he was just perfect ♥). Thanks for sharing this with us! :D

I'm so flattered, thank you! I would think, for Sherlock, that at that moment feeling was far more interesting than thinking, for a change. XD I tried to keep the UST building over the course of the fic instead of going back and forth with the levels, so I'm glad that worked.

Mycroft's going to enjoy bringing up Sherlock's lack of attention for awhile, for sure.

The second part was as nice as the first. :-)

favorite line: “Kettle. Mine,” John enunciated slowly, leaning as far forward as his restricted space allowed. “Very important. Do not delete.”

ps. Sherlock trying to 'dig' himself out of the hole he'd dug for himself with the tea kettle was highly amusing.

Sherlock had to do some fast thinking there to rescue his experiments! At least he realized he'd messed up this time. It's an improvement. Lol.

Still just as wonderful as when I read it on the meme.

My heart still clinched when Mycroft interrupted them! My whole body still contracted in squee as they finally got to kiss!

One of my absolute favourite fics. I plan to read it again and again and again!

Wow, such high praise! Thanks! You know, it was because of your fic Sibling Rivalry, which I accidentally stumbled upon over at ff.net, that led me to Sherlock in the first place. I didn't even know BBC Sherlock existed. So I went and dug up the episodes online after reading it and the rest is history.

If it weren't for you, this probably wouldn't have been written at all. So thank you. <3
