Is it just me? (#2)

I saw a sign in a shop window this morning that made me boggle a bit. The shop is a "health and beauty store" specialising in the Afro-Caribbean market, if that's relevant. The sign says:

VIRGIN BRAZILIAN HAIR ON SALE

It would have been even weirder (and it's weird enough as it is) if it said "Brazilian Virgin hair on sale". LOL

True, but only marginally. It's the "brazilian" bit that immediately made me think of waxing and ugh!

I suppose they mean it's hair that hasn't been used before, rather than hair from Brazilian virgins, but then that raises the question of their being a marked for recycled wigs and extensions, which seems almost as odd.

I assume virgin hair has never been chemically treated (bleached, permed, dyed, chemically straightened) but it was more the brazilian bit that made me do a double-take as I walked past it. Well no, it was the whole combo.
