Hung out with Sean on Wednesday. Saw Skeleton Key, which was odd. Then I had to go in to the dentist around 4. Ick. Sean called me again around 7 after waking up to a dark and empty house and being scared of things. So we hung out some more, got cheap pie at Perkins, and made him watch Shaun of the Dead. Restaurants are really bad for zombie attacks.

If you ever find yourself in a zombie attack while in the Metro region, just go for the Arden Hills Wal-Mart. Trust me, it'll be the safest place around by the time that you got there.

Walmart, eh? Any particular reason?

I still think the mall of america would be best for long-term zombie-survival. Assuming you could secure it, of course. Even just the area around camp snoopy, because of the skylights and the high ceilings, and lots of ways to climb up and escape (assuming zombies can't climb well).

Wal-Mart is great because it only has windows at the front, which would be relatively easy to secure. They have cement, so you can fortify for long-term siege as well as gardening supplies so that you can create a sustainable agricultural community on the roof in summer. Clothing for winter, plus plenty of canned goods, boxed foods, medicine, etc. You generally have a wide field of view as well since they tend to be surrounded by parking lots, so you can get a clear idea of exit routes. The disadvantage to that is that you could become surrounded, but provided that you have set up your defenses properly, you will survive. Unless they truly are the walking dead, back from Hell, in which case they'll live forever and you'll end up going insane. Hopefully they're just the rage-virus variant and they starve to death within a few weeks.
