i made kimchee homemade for the first time in my life on saturday with my friend and her mom and some other lovely ladies. i never had the opportunity or maybe desire to do it with my moms when i was growing up which is just as well cuz i probably wouldn't have appreciated it like i did on saturday. it was also wonderful to hear her mom's stories
