KAT-TUN Chain Tour Niigata Concert and Backstage Pass Report

Feb 12, 2012 03:08

Balloted for tickets to the Niigata and Tokyo shows. Hit for Tokyo but not for Niigata. Looked into buying a ticket but the prices were a bit crazy as its the first show of the tour and they haven't toured in a while.  But, then I lucked out and won a backstage pass for the Niigata show via the Birth CD code lottery and ended up spending way too ( Read more... )

KAT-TUN Chain Tour Niigata Concert and Backstage Pass Report kissmegreen February 11 2012, 20:07:14 UTC
God! I screamed at the end of your report!

Kame!!!! up close and your face and Ueda, oh I imagined him to be all pretty in person as well.... I can imagine how beaming Junno was and Koki must have been all smiley as well *-*

Attending the concert then seeing KAT-TUN up close is just perfect of an experience!

Thank you lots for your report... it was detailed and coherent even though your excitement must have been in a frenzied state! *you're great*

Thank you lots... I look forward to your other reports should you attend the other cons!

Thank you lots again!

Yeah, everyone was all smiles! Kame and Ueda were pretty, but Junno and Koki seemed to have a more casual look. You could tell the were all a little tired though. I felt sort of bad for them. I'm sure that after a concert they'd probably prefer to go home and relax rather than greet a bunch of fans. But I'm glad they did!

Oh yeah, I can imagine that they would be tired... but I'm also glad they went the extra mile to make their fans even happier! that's why we love KAT-TUN too right?!

btw, will you be attending any other concerts? I want to look out for that report as well?

I have tickets for the Friday Tokyo show and hope to get tickets for both Saturday and Sunday as well. I'll definitely do another report! Sadly, no more backstage tours though.

Wow! Thank you for report!
Please, can you explain how did you get backstage pass? I'm sure it wasn't just lucky CD, right? Is there an auctions or something like that when I can try to search it?

Not possible. The people who got the backstage pass all had to purchase one of the 3 versions of the Birth CD and enter a code found on the obi. The people with the winning codes all received an email last month with special check in information. They check this information on your phone and your photo ID to make sure the person who won the pass is the person who collected the pass so it is impossible to try and buy one. Sorry!

I could just imagine the brain-frying going on. Amazing experience *_*
Really, thanks for the report! Ignore my previous useless comment XD
I'm so glad of so many things - they sang a lot of B-sides, and whoa so many new songs, the solos sound nice (OMG Koki solo fancam needed now), and the return of the forever-trolled dentist!

At first surprised at the number of the backstage winners too- 150! but then compared maybe to the number of people at the venue, guess that's ok? Lucky 150 <3

The backstage pass winners were not just those at the venue. Anyone could use their Birth codes for any venue, so there were probably way more applications than the number of people who attended the concert. But, still, a lot more winners than I was expecting. I sort of wish now that I had tried for the Tokyo Dome because the stage is usually a lot more elaborate for the Dome shows. But I'm sure it was much harder to win a pass. I chose to use my codes for Niigata hoping that fewer people would apply for that particular venue.

I was the 8th person in line to shake their hands and it was funny seeing their reactions when they noticed I was foreign. Only Kame seemed to be able to overcome his shock and actually said thank you to me in English! Kyaaaaa~ Both him and Ueda are damn pretty up close!

OMG so envious!!!

Thanks a lot for sharing ur experience!!

I´m glad u enjoy the concert!!! *the goods are sooo cute all of them*
