KAT-TUN Chain Tour Tokyo Dome
Way late on posting this. The weekend of the Dome shows was pure craziness for me! I'm sure everyone already know what went down at the concert by now, so I'm just going to share a few pics I took and share my thoughts on the show!
I was able to see the show twice Once on Friday from the Arena and again on Sunday from the Balcony. It was my first time sitting in the Balcony section and, while it was fun, there are too many people who stay seated for me to really enjoy that section as I like standing up and jumping around during the show.
The last time I saw the show was at an Arena venue in Niigata. The Dome show differed a bit from the Arena show, but not by too much. While I love the special and more wow-factor things they can do in the Dome, I think I prefer the more intimate setting of an Arena. I really loved the way they passed about the posters in Niigata by having fans play a game with the large chain balls. The passing out of the posters was much less fun at the Dome, though they guys did try to have fun with it by doing little skits with the posters. I also missed Ueda's fuzzy guitar rock solo in English. However, I also greatly enjoyed his Dome solo, so......go Ueda! I things his 2 solos were my favorites of the tour.
One thing I absolutely LOVED about the Dome show was the amazing ending with the large floating chains and hot-air balloon things. Totally cool! Here's my sneak shot of them from my Arena seat!
That's really all I can think to write at the moment. Sorry for failing to write a report after the show. I'm really not good at doing things like that.....
