Mai (Yuugiou DM) The sex! And the only flaw I saw in the Doma saga. How could they do that to her character? She's so strong -- meeting Jonouchi and the gang was supposed to make her more honorable and not "omg emo for some pull-ass reason." But beside the motives and the means, I still liked her throughout Doma and the rest of the series. She has so much pride, and it's always the cocky ones that rub up on me. Not to mention she does stupid things when she angsts.
Marcone (Dresden Files He's a badguy. He makes everything screwed up and harder on our lovable wiseass Dresden. Somehow, he's able to make up for it by kicking the right asses. He's almost like Vito from The Godfather except I like Marcone better because he kicks supernatural asses. He's ruthless and calculating, but he's still human! No, he doesn't have any supernatural powers, but he still managed to rub his ass at his inhuman and human enemies alike, and there was nothing they could do about. That said, he and Dresden make a sexy team. I can't hate him. I tried.
Matt (Death Note) Okay, I seriously understand why he's famous. No, it's not because Mello needs a boyfriend. It's his clothes. He's so freaking fashionable with his furry vest and Digimon-boy-wanna-be goggles. And yeah, he's only in so few panels, but look at those panels! Everything about Matt in those panels say "I'm here to play SIMS and shoot people, and I'm doing both at the same time." Oh Matt, if only you were here for just a little while longer...
Mikage (Revolutionary Girl Utena) Pink hair? Mistaking a fourteen-year old girl for his late unrequited love? Beguiling several young women and a little boy to be backstabbed and fight in nearly-fatal duels? Later on realizing that he was a pawn in a game he didn't even think was bigger than himself until that very last confusing scene at the end of the season? Oh my crap, what is there not to like? He's the imbodiment of "guy who didn't mean to be a badguy but it just somehow turned out that way." Oh, Mikage, RGU would not be so lovely if it weren't for your valient efforts in reaching for the unreachable. And your confusing motives.
Mikhail (Dark Prince) Not my type, but would it not be cool to meet someone like him? Like I said, the cocky ones rub up on me. And I really liked him best in the first chapter. (Raven: "Hey, you wouldn't happen to be an arrogant, macho asshole, would you?" Mikhail: "Oh. Well. Jeah.") Unusually, I don't like him because he kicks ass or because he's badass. Betraying the title, I don't see him as "dark" at all. (Well, depending on your definition of dark...) Hell, I'm probably darker than him. I just liked him because he was strong, and even though he was cocky and controling, he was nice to those he cared about, which is something considering what the males of his species have to go through. And it's a lot more than what the other dudes tried to do.
Oh my crap, that took longer than expected. If you're curious about any other character with a name starting with "M" that I didn't mention, but you want me to, then ask away. This was fun.
