"Must've been a heck of a night," says the alien down the bar, giving her the side eye over a glass of something that is probably Atlantean... which is why it is a very small glass and he is taking very small sips.
"When is being bad ever pleasant? Except, obviously, when it is?" he asks, giving her a look over his glass. She is bad, obviously. She's covered in blood. Not that... he looks any better what with the whole black leather and spikes thing going on.
"First drink is on the house; don't get naked and don't kill anybody here, my dear. The bar is a safe haven between worlds and we like it that way," Megamind explained without so much as by your leave or even a good preamble.
Okay, see -- now she's a little concerned. The usual patrons aren't nearly so mouthy, so unless this is one of the Twos playing a dirty trick on her...
She looks out the window. Not being able to determine position based on star-cluster because the whole damn thing is blown up is -- perturbing, but Natalie's not unused to perturbing.
"What is it that makes you assume that I was being 'bad'?" She was just doling out some space-justice to make sure that a previously-agreed-upon contract didn't end up going sour.
