So if any trick-or-treaters actually have the temerity to show up obscenely early (i.e., before noon), while I'm still in my bathrobe, is it OK to hide and pretend no one's home? ;)
Good grief, yes! Considering that sunset is traditional, that's definitely "obscenely early," and they have no reason to expect that a large number of people will even be home (since plenty of American adults have outside-the-home jobs, for heaven's sake).
That's true--we don't usually get many before then, either. Occasionally, parents of really little kids will take them out earlier, but only occasionally.
Hello. I'm just some random stranger and I happened upon your jounral through an LJ community for cartoonists. I liked your strip very much and wondered if you'd mind my befriending you?
