Yay! This is glorious news. They're a bit pricey, but for the quality it sounds like they're totally worth it.

It would certainly be easy enough to make. I'm thinking of making one with some of the 8,000 yards of fleece I have in my sewing area. Mmmmmmm, slanket.

Oooh, you're talented. That seems like an *excellent* use of 8,000 yards of fleece. :)

Although, to be honest, I'd so be tempted to just cuddle up under the fleece as-is until I got around to doing anything with it...

We have a pretty astonishing amount of fleece in the house right now. It was on sale!

It is nice and snuggly. My favorite was when I washed it all* and it came out of the dryer. OMG I just wanted to sink down on the floor with the big pile of warm fleece.

* Always wash and dry fabric before sewing!

I shall just have to continue grinning through chattering teeth? ;)

I could ask for one for my b-day, but I dunno how much use I'd get out of it in May :)

You've certainly proven your ability in that department so far!

But watch, you won't get it and May will be 12 degrees... New England has a mean sense of humor, you know.
