Better late than never!
Reflections on 2013
What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before?
Graduate from University? Work a full time job? Haha.
Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
Taken from my meme last year:
- Graduate safely with my 2nd lower class Honours
- Get a job or get into NIE (to train to become a teacher) (the get a job part)
- Go to Japan (going this month so sort of?)
- Pass or at least get myself closer to N1 (I think my Japanese is actually getting more and more rusty)
- Be more diligent in both studies and translating (also did not happen /always lazing around)
- Spend more time with living people and less with Tacchan the laptop (technically yes because my work requires me to interact with people)
Yes I will make more at the end of the post :)
What countries did you visit?
None, but I will be going to Japan in 2 weeks!
What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
More time to myself.
What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
13th July: University Commencement
25th&27th July: SAKURAI SHO :D (yes such are my priorities)
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduate from University. Survived 7 months at a stressful job.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope, thankfully.
What was the best thing you bought?
An iPad Air named Ninomi. :D (along with its 4G plan)
Where did most of your money go?
Electronics, Food, Branded Goods. And of course J&A.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Does going to Japan count? Because although I am only going in Jan I have been excited about it for months? >D
What song will always remind you of 2013?
~kusabi. P.A.R.A.D.O.X. (where the my other 11 months of the year go to??)
Compared to this time last year, you are...
Tired.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Sleep.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Spend $ on J&A.
Did you fall in love in 2013?
Does falling back in love with a certain J after 10 years (I sort of lost my memory of him after Petto due to a certain drama that involved perms) count?
What was your favorite TV program?
I didn't watch any programmes on an actual TV set. And tbqh none of the dramas I watched in 2013 left me enough impression to call it a favourite.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Still no comment, lol.
What was your greatest musical discovery for 2013?
I would be lying if I called Arashi a "musical" discovery (thanks to members A, S and J <-- technically should be M following the naming convention of the previous 2 but then again S is S.S and if A's surname is M oh well I am just rambling), but I did learn maybe about a hundred of their songs last year.
What did you want and get?
A trip to Japan! (why do I keep talking about it like it has happened haha)
What did you want and not get?
A good job.
What was your favorite film of this year?
Platina Data...? (the only 2 movies I watched this year were Platina Data and NazoDi -.-)
What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I went for karaoke and I turned 23. The day after my birthday was my commencement.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
I don't really curr.
What kept you sane?
Looking at pretty boys. Having long chats on the phone with g.f.
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013.
Letting go.
Did you know anybody who got married?
No. Unless you count celebrities?
Has anyone betrayed you in 2013?
I don't think so. Either that or I am too stupid to notice...?
What's something you thought you'd never do but did in 2013?
Nothing, really. I know myself pretty well.
What has been your favorite moment?
Sitting 10 metres away from Sakurai Sho? Although it wasn't really a moment more like HALF AN HOUR? :D
What's something you learned about yourself?
Nothing.
Were you in a relationship this year?
Nope. Unless you count Jess hahahaha.
Would you say you've changed since the beginning of this year?
Tbqh I don't think I've changed since I graduated from high school idek why I wrote yes last year O.O
Resolutions for 2014
- Pass JLPT N1
- Finish reading a book in Japanese
- I would really love to visit Japan again (ok not again since I haven't actually gone the first time yet) but I doubt I'll have the means to by the end of 2014)
- Lose weight and be more diligent in keeping my complexion clear
