There is an odd primal comfort in hearing the audial harmonics of human vocalizations, is there not? That sensation must be what drove humans to the creation of "song" so many eons ago. Of course, what they called song is not like the songs of now... the soul voice is much more clear, much more intimate, and infinitely more versatile... And yet, we cannot escape that feeling of comfort voices bring.
