He tried to get the way Mikey had just turned his head out of his mind. He hadn't even said anything, hadn't freaked out, he'd just...rejected him. And- Stop thinking about it!
He forced himself to stop replaying that moment and tried to get some sleep. It didn't take long after that for that something to take over again though, and soon he was out of the bed, walking down the hallway and sneaking into Mikey's room, wriggling in the bed next to him. They'd done this a lot when they were younger but well...this was different.
As Gerard shifted beside him, cold metal touching the younger boy's skin gently, he fought the possibility that Mikey was just going to turn away again.
He was sure this time. He knew the other boy felt the same way.
"Gerard?!"
He knew it.
